laundry care

Blankets

  • Separate:

Remove heavy insert from the blanket cover. Once removed, it is best to wash the cover separately from the rest of your laundry for the most effective wash.

  • Dry:

Tumble dry on low and cool iron if needed. The Gravis Blanket can also be dry cleaned.

  • Wash:

The Gravis is machine washable. We recommend only washing the blanket by hand. For ongoing care, remove the cover before washing, and machine wash in cold water with similar colors, using non-chlorine bleach.

  • Avoid fabric softeners:

We don’t recommend using a fabric softener as the chemicals coat the fabric and prevent the towel from absorbing water from your skin. We recommend using wool dryer balls instead.

Towels

  • Separate:

Treat your towels with care by always washing and drying them separate from your other laundry. This will allow for the towel to be cleaner and free of knicks as sometimes buttons and zippers can get caught in the fabric. Also, by keeping the load smaller, the washing machine will provide a deeper clean.

  • Dry:

To ensure your towels are dried properly, shake them out before putting them in the dryer. Dry on low heat tumble cycle. trying on high heat can cause the towel to become stiff. Makes sure they are completely dry before you take them out.

  • Wash:

We recommend washing your towels every 3-4 days. To help preserve the fabric, wash in cool to warm water on the gentle cycle.

  • Avoid fabric softeners:

We don’t recommend using a fabric softener as the chemicals coat the fabric and prevent the towel from absorbing water from your skin. We recommend using wool dryer balls instead.
